Abdulaziz AlHamdanVP

Abdulaziz A. Al-Hamdan was appointed as Vice President for Trading Development & Growth at Aramco Trading Company in September 2021. He has held various key roles in Saudi Aramco for the past 20 years, given his technical and commercial acumen.

Abdulaziz moved from Oil & Gas to Downstream Petrochemicals where he was responsible for the establishment of this function within Saudi Aramco. In 2012, he spearheaded the establishment of the Polymers sales organization in Xiamen, China. Upon his return from Xiamen, he was assigned to lead the Liquids Chemical Trading team within Saudi Aramco Products Trading Company (ATC). In 2019, he was appointed as Vice President of Liquid Chemicals Trading & Supply Chain in Aramco Chemical Company. In 2020, he steered the successful integration of this business with SABIC with the help of his team. 

Abdulaziz holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Colorado State University.
