Mohammad Khatir was appointed as Managing Director of Aramco Trading Americas (ATA) effective December 2025.
Prior to assuming this role, he served as the Vice President of Risk Control and the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at Aramco Trading from March 2, 2022.
From 2018, Mohammad was Managing Director and Board Member of Aramco Trading Singapore (ATS), where he led the establishment of its trading operations and served as the Global Head of naphtha and liquified natural gas (LNG).
At ATC, he held trading roles across various product portfolios such as fuel oil, derivatives, gasoline, naphtha, and crude oil, including the commissioning ATC’s gasoline blending operations in 2013.
He joined the team that established Aramco Trading in 2011, after handling various roles at Ras Tanura Refinery and Terminal and Saudi Aramco’s marketing department from 2006.
Mohammad began his career with Saudi Aramco in 1999 through the Far East graduate program, earning a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Management from Beijing’s University of International Business and Economics.
