Mohammed K. Al-Mulhim has been appointed as Senior Vice President at Aramco, effective April 1, 2024. In this role, Mr. Al-Mulhim will continue to oversee Aramco Trading Company (ATC), building on his distinguished tenure as President and CEO of ATC since April 1, 2022. His promotion as Senior Vice President is a testament to his more than 30 years of extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, underscoring his invaluable contribution and leadership within the sector.

Since 2012, he has played a key role in the early stages of ATC, where he initially joined as acting Vice President of Supply & Trading and eventually as full-fledged VP, which saw the rapid expansion of the company in terms of geographical footprint and market presence.

Before joining ATC, he was the Managing Director at Saudi Petroleum Ltd. in Singapore. In this role, he managed Saudi Aramco's crude, LPG, and refined product sales and marketing efforts across South East Asia and the Indian subcontinent, significantly enhancing the company's presence and market position in these regions.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Al-Mulhim held various leadership positions within the Sales & Marketing organization, including Marketing Manager for Crude and Refined products. He also contributed his expertise as a Project Engineer for the Rabigh Refinery Upgrade, demonstrating his versatile skill set and commitment to excellence across multiple facets of the industry.

Joining Saudi Aramco in 1990, he initially contributed to the Oil Supply Planning and Scheduling Department, a vital component of the company's operations that coordinates the entirety of its hydrocarbon activities.

Mr. Al-Mulhim is an alumnus of King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering. His commitment to professional development is further evidenced by his completion of several executive leadership programs, including the Executive University Program at the Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Switzerland, along with Saudi Aramco Management Programs in Washington and New York.
